2000s Keeper League-filled - 24 team-live draft

LIVE DRAFT is scheduled for Jan. 1, noon ET. 26 Rounds including stadium, 1 hour per pick, clock turned off between 10 PM and 11 AM ET.

Here is how this Keeper League works: There is a 3 season cycle. First year is a complete 26 round "Live" draft including a unique stadium. The last Live draft had a 2 hour draft window and lasted about a week. This Live draft will have a one hour window so should take a few days. The 2nd and 3rd seasons are complete keepers where each team starts with the same roster that they finished with. Typical rules, 80 mil, DH

Since the league has 24 teams, I feel it is more realistic. There are very few high-priced free agents and good pitching is in short supply.

26 Round live draft is scheduled to start Jan. 1. The live draft will take a few days. If you haven't done a live draft before, it is a lot of fun. You can make lists of players so you don't have to be present when your pick comes up. Checking in once or twice a day is fine.

I sincerely appreciate Franky's efforts to keep this league going through the 8 seasons so far. I know it's tough to fill a 24-team league like this, and I urge us all to have patience and wait for us to get this filled, no matter how long it takes. 24 teams is the right way to go with this set, and if we don't fill it for several weeks, so be it. I for one am willing to wait.
