It was Paul Longs bid so he needs to be the one to modify it. If he wants to go with 3 at 2 per, then Paul K could overbid . But Paul K doesn’t get to start with 3/2-M because it wasn’t his turn to bid

By bid I mean it was Paul Long’s turn to nominate a player and he needs to offer a legal contract. Then folks can overbid on top of that if they want.

TN is right on this. What should happen in my opinion is that Paul L's bid on Raleigh should be corrected to the amount that a 3 yr contract requires (2mil per year). We've done this many times in the past. I don't think it would be right for Paul L to be able to up the amount or to put up a different player now that Paul k has shown interest in Raleigh. Just my opinion. Not saying that Paul would do that by the way.

Agree with Old. That’s the simplest, fairest, and hopefullly — fastest — solution.

I will do whatever needs to be done. Maybe this will be a good solution.....since I put him up at 1.2 Million. Can it just be amended to a 2-year contract and we go from there?

The initial bid was not valid so the initial bidder needs to correct it to make it valid. I will correct the initial bid and Paul Kiggins is welcome to counter the corrected initial bid.

Going forward, I will automatically correct invalid initial bids to make them valid. If the correction puts you over your salary cap, that is the penalty for the error. Let's be careful to make sure we're meeting the minimum bid requirements.
