Ted Lasso ATG League - Season 10

Rules question here is my understanding of how it works and I’m looking for confirmation
We draft 25 players and a stadium in round 1. I retain the rights to all 25 players until the season 2 draft and can’t add/drop. However I can keep 24 on my active roster and add/drop the 25th as necessary (subject to the draft penalty throughout the season).
For season 2 any player continuing on I can keep (with the exception being the relievers who are out of sequence must be dropped). Or I can announce prior to the draft that I am dropping them however once the draft begins I am stuck with them for another season. Same with the stadium. I need to announce its drop before the Sp draft begins. But unlike the players I can stay in the same stadium going forward forever (just not back to an earlier one once I leave it).

Bingo! Your interpretation is spot on.

In order to stay within the salary cap, I would not be surprised if managers played with 24 active players instead of 25 -- especially in the earlier seasons, when S9* or S8* guys are more readily available. That could leave a 25th player on the bench, who could be swapped with one of the other 24, as needed.

Correction to our list. Terry101 tells me he had intended to post to the original Ted Lasso thread and not the ATG one...

Suggestion - I think Terry and dharmabums are willing to manage two teams. But, prefer only one.

Unless we're in an urgent hurry, let's leave it as 'five' left and then once we get down to the last two open slots, Terry and dharma can decide if they want to fill it. If people look at the topic and see it is full, they are unlikely to read it close enough to realize they can still join.

Also, leagues have a tendency to fill fast once they are down to their last 1 or 2 openings.

I suppose I can't speak for Mark, but I would enjoy having 2 teams. Building a new team is one of my favorite parts of Strat, and it was fun to draft 2 teams at the same time in the original Ted Lasso league.

Tempting, but I'll pass on having two teams this time. Hope we find 3 more persons soon !

Are the new eligible cards getting loaded into season 1 or just moving forward in season 2 etc
