I have a prospect Pitcher and Hitter available to trade if someone is interested, looking for free agent draft picks, or quality veterans to fill out a major league roster. I'm hoping to get back to .500 and not be an embarrassment this season:
P Emerson Hancock RHP, 23 years old, Seattle Mariners - Hancock is no longer eligible to be retained as a prospect, but he also has not made his ML debut. He made it to Double AA last season and was adequate, if not impressive. I'm 50/50 on keeping him for 2023 and hoping he makes the jump to the majors as an non-carded player on my roster, or just cutting him because I ran out of time. He's a former 1st round draft pick (#6 overall).
OF Luis Matos, 20 years old, San Fran Giants - Matos is very young but has a lot of potential. He just won defensive player of the season in the Arizona Fall League. Above average contact and power, but still very raw and developing. Again, he was a 2021 prospect, so I have to cut him or promote him. I'm not sure I have room to carry several non-carded players. Still working the numbers on that one.
IF Geraldo Perdomo, 23 years old, Arizona Diamondbacks - Perdomo played nearly every day last season. Hopefully the bat improves this season for an optimistic Diamondbacks club trying to compete for a wildcard spot in 2023. He's another 2021 prospect, so a cut him or promote him situation. If I cut him, I believe that he would enter our Free Agent draft.
