CATCHERS
- Teams are required to have at least 2 players with catcher as primary position
- So 18 x 2 = 36 minimum on rosters
- There are 54 hitters in season 1 with catcher as primary position

PITCHERS
- Season 1 has 337 pitcher cards
- Including 238 unique players
- Of those, 167 are SPs and 71 are RPs

RELIEF PITCHERS
- The league will require only 3 "pure" RPs instead of the standard 4
- So 18 x 3 = 54 minimum on rosters
- There are 71 pitchers in season 1 with "pure" RP ratings

SALARY CAP
- Estimate at 15 hitters + 7 SPs + 3 RPs = 25 maximum players per team

Is this a league rule? Or just a misrepresentation of the standard rule requiring two players who are eligible to play catcher, though not requiring them to have it as their primary position?

You must have at least 13 and no more than 17 hitters.
- At least two of those hitters must have catcher as their primary position.

Strat rules for ATG 9:

You must have at least 13 and no more than 17 hitters.
- At least two of those hitters must have catcher as their primary position.

The primary position rule is only endured by som during the draft. If you have someone like king Kelly or frank chance with catcher eligibility, you can play with only 1 primary catcher card. But yes, for drafting purposes we have to have 2.
