Anything That Can Happen will Happen

PostSun Jan 22, 2023 2:34 pm

This is under the heading anything that can happen will happen with enough dice rolls. In the 2021 card set, Ryan Yarbrough is my mopup pitcher with 12 IP in my teams first 42 games. He has now been injured twice. In a game where pitchers are hardly injured what are the odds that one will be injured twice in a short period of time?

Acquired FA as backup 1B and part=time DH. Played one game and was injured and out for one additional game. Returned from injury and was injured again (first game back from previous injury) and out for seven additional games! So first ten days on my roster, he was injured and out for eight of those days as well as departing early due to injury in the two games (days) that he actually played. Not cool.
