If the margin is more than seven runs, the headline is about how the losing team was "annihilated" or similar, no matter what individual accomplishments occurred during the game. Not even a no-hitter can make the headline if one team was "annihilated."

So true--have had more than one instance of a no hitter not even mentioned in the game story.
