1956 Maxwell and Virdon

PostTue Mar 21, 2023 2:01 pm

When 1956 Maxwell was released, it was a basic card, without BP SI or HR. I wrote to SOM, and they said they would fix that in the next release. At the next release, Maxwell was not fixed, and 1956 Virdon was added, similarly without BP SI or HR. Again I wrote to SOM. They can use a reminder to upgrade these two cards prior to the next release. Since Bill is the one with their ear, and is most connected to release timing, Bill, can you see what you can do? Curious how this only affected 1956. Thanks.

I just traded for 1956 Maxwell in a league I'm in, not realizing this mistake on his card. Then I noticed the lack of # on his card and searched and found this discussion. Considering that I am in a pitcher's park, the fact that Maxwell has uncompromised HR power is a pleasant surprise! :D
