No worries. Biggest pressing matter is the seemingly unnecessary Drop in the unctarheel/wilmur trade.

Just got home from a long road trip and had time to catch up on the thread. Based upon the sections of the rules cited, it does appear that I inadvertently committed an infraction in my rush to complete a couple of trades before walking out the door earlier today. Please accept my apology. I concur with the opinion that I should keep Jeffers and lose my final free-agent pick (round 11). I will gladly abide by whatever ruling the commissior sees fit to impose.

I confirm the trade listed above and announce the release of Ryan Jeffers to compensate for the added pick.

I'm curious about this one. According to the league rules:

5) Regular players can be released from the 40 man roster only for the following: a) pre-draft release prior to Annual Free Agent draft b) pre-draft release prior to Supplemental free agent draft; c) to bring a roster down to the 40 man limit as a result of an unbalanced transaction.

The team was not over the 40 man limit, so why would a player drop be legitimate?

Thanks all. The rules are pretty clear, as posted by Terry. The drop of Jeffers was neither necessary nor allowed by the rules. He will remain on tarheel's roster.

Is this legal? I know other leagues only allow prospect promotion pre-draft and during the season when an open roster spot allows. That's to avoid circumventing the prospect limits which is not happening here.

Willmurr, It's too late for this. Drops / promotions need to be announced prior to the FA draft, and you did in fact announce quite a bit of prospect movement at that time. So not sure why you didn't include them then.

I don't think uncle tarheel has a full roster yet, as Mahle was traded and should be removed from his roster.
