To all Keeper Leagues

PostFri Apr 07, 2023 1:03 am

Here are my thoughts and that and the hand you didn't wish in is what it is worth.

We are not far from a time when someone didn't respond after some time we wondered if they had become worm food or been introduced to God. People went back and found the last post of that Manager and sometimes it was long ago.

In some leagues people get a bit nervous and want things to move more progressively and just get it done. I find that to be harmful to those that don't find getting the draft done collectively in a way that others don't want to be a problem for all. It causes angst and puts everyone on edge. If you are not living on the edge you are taking up too much space. I love that saying when I was younger.

We all have lives and family and when it comes to those things you should be able to provide for them and do what is necessary to get that job done first and well keep a beating heart.

Here is the nugget. If you haven't noticed this and I have. Watch what happens once the draft is done. It will take up to a week to load. Everyone knows the draft is over and someone makes the League take a week to load. Collectively we have got what we wanted done, done but it still doesn't move us forward for the greater good of us all. We just don't move any faster and when all just end up with less.

My Dad always told me "If you want to worry about something? Worry about your Health, money is right around the corner." After he died, I found out he wasn't Radar O'Reilly in M*A*S*H* as he was battlefield cleanup in the Korean War. I was told he worked in the Post Office. He loved that show and so do I. If you don't know what that 3rd tag was for you don't want to. He told me what it was for but never said he was the one that did that.

Good Health to you and everyone you hold dear to your beating heart. When that fails nothing else compares.

Mike

PS Just do what your Keeper Leagues Commissioners ask of you and this year I failed that. For you guys, you have my respect and most sincere apologies. It just could not be helped this week. I was overwhelmed with work and my entire downstairs is torn apart for a remodel. I understand your sacrifice. I always do the best I can. This year I ended up giving you the hand I didn't wish in. That I am disappointed for.
