Well......that's what I mean - I would also. So would others I would guess. That's why I'm suggesting at the end of round 2 - make it a random order to see who would want to exercise that option.

Then, I am assuming, we could use him however we wanted, right? P and DH?

Yeah I'd go along with that........................at the end of round 3.

to resolve this I vote for the option to make the Angels a double pick so you get Trout, and Ohtani as a hitter and pitcher at the price of 2 picks.. however; for this option to work, someone has to pick the Angels by the end of the 4th round.. if no one has picked the Angels by round 5 we will have someone left with only 4 picks because we will run out of half-teams..
