I have a rules question. Thinking ahead to 70s season #1, the rules say that a player in the 70s set who has a 70s set card year in the 60s will not be eligible for the 70s pre-decade draft (i.e., they are not considered to be rookies). Does this apply to a player who has a 70s set card in the 60s but was not in the 60s set at all? An example is Ken Sanders.

Anyone who's in the 70s set but not in the 60s set will have a rookie year (eligible for a draft) in the 70s - with the exception of .75 players who are always free agents. If a 70s player's first card is in the 60s, despite not being in the 60s set, they will be eligible for the pre-decade draft prior to season 1 of the 70s. These players will be eligible for season 1.

Sanders for example, or Mike Hegan, as another example, will both be rookies eligible for season 1 and available to be drafted in the pre-decade draft. (Both have their first card in the 60s, but aren't the 60s set.)
