Eric Chalek has released updated MLEs after revamping and improving his process, so I've updated the leaderboard with the new MLEs as well as 2022 stats.

Active players debuting in the top 500:
Jose Ramirez
Carlos Correa
Starling Marte
Francisco Lindor
Aaron Judge
Carlos Santana
Christian Yelich
Xander Bogaerts

Updated MLEs debuting in the top 500:
Ramon Bragana (117 HOF+, no card)
Omar Linares (109 HOF+, Cuba)
Barney Brown (105 HOF+, no card)
Tetelo Vargas (101 HOF+, no card)
Lazaro Salazar
Bobby Avila
Pedro Formental (Cuba)
Bill Holland
Silvio Garcia (Mexico)

Active players reaching 100 HOF+ score:
Jose Altuve
Giancarlo Stanton

Updated MLEs reaching 100 HOF+ score:
George Scales
Bill Byrd
Biz Mackey
Buzz Clarkson (no card)

Josh Gibson's score also got a nice bump (still not high enough though).

No Mike Trout in the active players reaching 100 HOF+ score? According to Baseball Reference, Trout has 82.8 career WAR accumulated, Altuve 46.5. No Mike Trout in the top 500, too? Totally left off the lists, seems. Just wondering...

He's been over 100 for years now, I was just listing the guys who attained it this year. Trout is already in the top 50 all-time.

Just noticed this thread which goes back to 2022. Well its awesome and I will review further when I don't have a hangover and have taken my IQ pills. However I must say that Maxpower has made another significant contribution and I thank you for it.

Just got around to reqading these recent updates. Interesting stuff. Always fun to try and compare greats across eras.
And in baseball obviously a huge gaping normalization gap prior to integration which makes it impossible. But the legends and debates will always be alive and well.
