Ted Lasso ATG League - Season 9

Full disclosure to Terry and the league. Though, it is visible on my roster.

Like season 1, I am only planning to use 9 pitchers. Unlike season 1, I only drafted 9 pitchers. In season 1, I drafted 10 pitchers and kept them all 'up' with John Coleman appearing in 0 games.

In season 2, I only drafted 9 pitchers. The during season roster will allow 9 pitchers. But, the pre-season draft roster appears to require 10.

Since I don't have 10 pitchers, I am going to draft Death Valley Scott (who went unselected) to enter my team and then drop him immediately after the draft completes and before the season begins. I looked carefully at several places in the league rules and I can't find anything that speaks to this particular circumstance.

Teams can draft to fill their rosters to 25 players, if they wish, and can choose to carry 24 or 25 on their active rosters. After the draft is completed, "There will be no other roster changes during the season, except for trades."

If you have not drafted a roster that can be loaded into the Strat site, then your last pick was invalid. Everybody else has at least 10 pitchers, and so should you.

Everett Scott in round 13 was not a valid pick. Please re-pick.

CORRECTION

In reviewing your roster, I see that you have Jose Mendez, who has both hitter and pitcher cards.

I had mistakenly rostered him as a hitter, but you will be using him as a pitcher, right?

If so, then you DID already have 10 pitchers and the Everett Scott pick WAS valid.
