I'm telling you guys...

It's quite a challenge...

Especially this season with the 2022 player set...

It's very tough to draft and pick right is mindboggling...,

Not much offense... but decent or more power...

I've decided to go with pitchers for event 1...

We'll see... but... WHAT A BLAST !!!

Quite different and much more realistic/challenging than ATG8 or 9 for that matter...

REALLY WORTH TRYING !!!

It is way cool to have different options. I wasn't implying the BS finals league is anything more than it is. But ATG is certainly a challenge to succeed at long term as well, and there is no excuse when you don't perform well--your strategy was wrong for the league conditions. Period.

My few dabbles in the online flavors of single season play was always tempered by the issue of too much emphasis on luck or strategy of the draft due to the limited pool, at least for my taste. But many find that appealing and I can see that too.

Challenging no doubt, but part of that is because if you get screwed on the random order of a live draft or an auto draft, you are challenged because without some luck in the draft, there aren't many options to apply a strategy.

In ATG, the opposite is true. Every strategy is on the table every league. The draft has almost zero importance in most caps. What I like is there is no excuse if you don't perform well over the long term--it is 100% due to an incorrect application of strategy for the conditions, versus being on the wrong end of a gamble. Unfortunately, that definitely does have a drawback--some strategies become entrenched because they are tough to beat. I like to try though.

But the cool thing is the games definitely have a different feel because of that and yields a random chance element to player selection which many like, especially those who enjoy fantasy-type sports vs strict sims. Which is a cool thing to have as another option using essentially the same game engine. Single season play makes for an exciting element of unknowns.

I don't think SOM has ever found a way to advertise very well so maybe you are someone they need to hire chabs!
