Set for Mystery Tournament Final Round to be revealed

Strat-o-matic is going to do a random selection of the Mystery Set to be used for our championship final round via a video on their social media platforms at 12:00 noon Eastern time on Thursday May 18th! They had previously randomly selected the 60's as the set to be used for the semi-finals round, so the 60's will not be eligible to be the set used for the final round.

For the second year in a row, the 90s will be the decade for the Tournament Finals. Just for fun, here is the link to last year's draft: https://365.strat-o-matic.com/league/dr ... lts/461671

In last year's Finals, the first 3 draft picks were McGwire, Maddux and Chipper Jones. McGwire and Maddux got cut during the season and Chipper finished with a mediocre .816 OPS. 9th overall pick Barry Bonds was the League MVP but the much cheaper Albert Belle (first pick in Round 2) wasn't far behind in MVP voting. Unlike some decades, I don't see much advantage in any particular draft position. Maybe sphilipp will tell us what he plans to do with the #1 pick.

Funny we voted for the 90s last year, in part, because it had never been a finals set. Now, back to back!
