Commissioner's Top 12 Pre-Tournament Ranking (2023)

The tournament has been a blast and I really enjoyed playing in it. Felt like I held my own for a first-timer, made the playoffs in 3 of the 5 leagues and was only under .500 in one. It's HARD to keep up once the multiple leagues are in play and I had a hard time remembering to adjust preferences when I added players etc.And as others have pointed out, there many great players in this, which makes it even harder. The veteran players were all very helpful when I asked questions and that was much appreciated!

Hell, yeah, you did great @Maestro1! Very consistent through each decade, too. Will be a force to be reckoned with next tourney! Thanks for hanging out and keep an eye on the semis and finals as I have always found that helped me understand why the best players win consistently in this thing!

I believe Timer won the 70’s decade in his slot. Maybe he could climb up the board next time? He’s no slouch ya know

There is such a large group of tough players now that making the pre-tournament list is hard. For example, players like pwoelfle22 and MGoren5166, I expected them to make the semis because I know what good players they are. But I left them off this year because they didn't make it to the top 24 last year (when I did have them on the list). My best predictions this year were probably barrmorris who had a great tournament and maestro1 who almost made the top 24. But overall the predicitons were way off compared to previosu years.
