If there is a method of letting people know when I make my pick other than this forum let me know I'm happy to oblige. if I held things up by assuming this was the preferred method I can claim ignorance as its only year 2 for me but I'm happy to follow whatever procedure is preferred. Can we trade picks if both parties agree?

Ironically, we didn't trade picks, but we traded teams. In DFL 45 you had the 6th pick and took the Giants, while I had the 9th pick and 16th pick and eventually took the Pirates at 16. Now, in DFL 46, you took the Pirates at 9 and I claimed the Giants at 6. Go figure.

We are thinking along the same lines regarding whether picks can be traded. Several seasons ago I asked the same question. The commish ruled that we can trade picks, but (disappointingly) said that trading picks would also constitute our one trade. Needless to say, no picks were traded.

Dave and I texted yesterday and I decided not to press it because others already drafted and wanted it to be fair. I wouldn’t trade draft picks in place of the one allowed trade. I actually wanted to trade up for the Red Sox because the AL is not as strong as the NL team rosters for the most part. Needless to say I passed on the remaining AL teams and went with the most rounded team available in my opinion.

I'm not 100% sure of what you're asking, but the Indians have priority to both Perry and Tiant and may use any of their seasons. If the Indians decide not to use either one, only the Red Sox can have Tiant and may use any season, including 1968. Perry would go to either the Rangers or Giants, whichever gets to him first, and again they may use any of his cards.

Under the info/help menu you can look at player sets without needing to buy a franchise. the official set is Post WW2 V11 (created by FALCON29 on Tue, 8/16 at 6:05pm ET). search free agents by franchise to see who's available. if you have trouble finding the custom set, choose an all time greats ATG set under the expansion and postwar subsets for each team, which should catch most of the players in the custom set. good luck.
