I voted for Pie Traynor 1930. Grew up in Pittsburgh as a Pirates fan, and this was Pie's best season. Another reason is the 1930 season was an offensive Mount Everest in the history of baseball, as noted above. When SOM does these cards, they can turn out fairly interesting, if you like offense.
1930 league averages were .292 BA, .352 OBP, .426 SA. Amazing!
