Re: Multi-Decade 70s Season 1 - salmonbellies up

We have a problem. A player who has been drafted shouldn't be eligible for the draft.

Bud Harrelson was taken in the 3rd round by salmonbellies. Harrelson, however, has a 60s card (he's a .75M player). In fact he's playing in the playoffs right now, which is how I noticed this. 60s players with 0.75M salary are supposed to be free agents at the start of the 70s.

This is my mistake for including him on the list. I'm not sure how to resolve this, though, given there's been many picks since then.

my suggestion is keep the Harrelson pick as is. Harrelson was a .75 player in the 60s, so he isn't a keeper from the 60s. Everyone had a fair chance to draft Harrelson since he was on the list on page 1. Seems to me that salmonbellies drafted him fair-and-square and should keep him.

I'm thinking the same thing. We make an exception for Harrelson, since he was on the list. Re-doing the pick would be messy at this point and I think unfair in a number of ways. It wasn't salmon's mistake.

Johnstone, Lindblad, Gladding, Burgmeier & Blass were all .75 in the Superstar Sixties.

Argh. I guess I messed that up. At least none of those players were drafted. I'll remove them from the list.

BC,

Agree with keeping Harrelson drafted. Don’t worry about this and thanks for putting this league together. Great managers and league.

I also agree. At this point it's been too long. I'd allow it to stand.
