Wrap up of regular season

With the loading of event 5 coming to a close (league 6 will draft today or tomorrow), I can comment on this year's participation. As with all tournaments, we are back at pre-pandemic levels, but the number of managers completing the minimum number of events did exceed last year and also beat 2019 by 2.

Fillers
My second least favorite part of being a commissioner (after policing managers marking their team as ready for draft) is sweating out filling the last league of an event, so I am particularly thankful for fillers. I want to acknowledge and thank the following for helping complete leagues this season:

Tournament participants: randal64, ycbill, stevep107

Non-participants: HB95, rolandzeut, kaina7

Semi-Finals leagues: I can now be more precise about the start date for the 3-round draft for semi-finals leagues. It looks like those will start on Monday October 16.

Finals: It looks like semi-finals leagues will wrap-up right before the new year (around Dec. 28), so we will probably wait a week to start the finals draft.

Yes, that's about 30% below the peak year of 2020 and a little over 40% higher than 2019.

Pretty impressive. On average, 4.2 ATG leagues a day are formed. I’m impressed.
