Sorry, my fault on this. I dropped him this morning. He had 27 at bats for me and obviously didn't help given my cellar dwelling record.

Cuts and promotions I believe.

True but they do have to be promoted before free agency is over or there won't be spots left on your roster.

Section 9.07 OFFSEASON ACTIVITIES AND DEADLINES: (A) PLAYER CUTS: Team owners have to make decisions about cutting players under contract for the upcoming MLB season by November 30. Released players become available to be picked up on waivers (see Section VIII.03), but the team owning the player remains responsible for his contract until the player contract is picked up off waivers by another team or until the contract expires.

At the winter meetings this year The Cubbies announced:
(1) that they will be leaving Petco Park 2022 after their 3 yr term expired.
(2)The Cape Bear team announced that Rookie OF Joey Wiemer and Emerson Hancock SP, Quinn Priester SP will be promoted to the active roster Roster
