Thoughts and prayers from me and, I'm sure, all the NLDers that have enjoyed your competitive company over the many seasons (46 to be exact!). It's very sad and, I'm sure, super hard.
I went through something similar with my Mom and I know how hard that was. I can't imagine how hard it must be with a wife.
Hang in there buddy. Things will get better in time.
Let us know when you're ready to return to the NLD. We're here for you.
I can't imagine getting that kind of news about my wife and i hope this time away with your children has helped all of you. It sounds like your wife was an amazing person and she will save a spot for the two of you up there with the big guy to reconnect one day.
My condolences for your loss. There is always a reason we go through what we do, even if we have no understanding of why. Bonding together with your family is the best thing for all. I have been married for 35 years and can not imagine a day without Marty in my life.
Glad to see you are back on the boards, thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
David, thanks for sharing this with your "extended family." I can't imagine how it would be to lose my wife of 54 years. I can imagine that your wife was very patient and tolerant of the time this game takes away from giving attention to your family. We hope to have you back with NLD family soon.
Condolences to you and your family. I know you shared this during the last NLD draft when a couple of us (me included) made comments about it taking too long -- comments which I regret and apologize.
Best of everything going forward. It was great you guys were able to take some time away and be together.
My sincere condolences for you and your family's loss. I'm glad you made it back to Strat, and hope we can find places for you in the leagues you'd like.
