Wow, my Pen woes continue. Crazy ERAs so far. I know it's early and I hope things will look up, but early returns are UGLY.

Holderman 5.84
Williams 5.25
Tielbar 7.47
Mgegll 11.37
Rodgriguez 12.30
Ashby 3.00

The starters, oustide of Bieber (4.73) have been pretty good, but the pdn. Wow, that's terrible.

You have Judge, so does it matter how bad the pitching is? ;)

LOL

Well, here's his Slash so far:

.250 .364 .630

The ob and power are great, the average could probably be expected to be a little higher.

Then again.... 12 of his 25 hits are HRs so maybe he's doing OK. ;) 8-)

Ok, here's a low scoring series for you:

Hawk beats us 12-1
We beat him 18-2
And the "close" game of the series.... we win 7-2. LOL

We were 0-7 in extra inning games going into tonight.

Here's how we won our first extra game. Oh, and it was a 1-0 score.

0 A.Judge 3-7 Walk b-1 F9
0 1 K.Carpenter 4-8 Walk 1-2 b-1 F8
0 12 J.Pena 5-2 Walk 2-3 1-2 b-1 F0
SUBSTITUTION at P: Wil Crowe (R)
0 123 K.Wong 3-6 HBP 3-H 2-3 1-2 b-1 F9

Yes, you read that right, Jimenez walked the first three hitters and then Crowe hit Wong for the game winner. LOL

Well, it may not be pretty, but at least we now have an extra inning win!!!!

Crazy season, so far for my mob - 10-games losing streak, then an 8-game win streak. Gamel playing way over his head in his platoon with Pinder and McCarthy struggling to stay above .500 OPS.

Speaking of crazy seasons, we've gone 1-9 and we're still in first place a game below .500

It's been a tough stretch. Hoping to get it turned around in the division.

We have the second best run dif, but we're 9-16 in one run games and 1-7 in extras. Gonna have to get that turned around...

McCarthy just had an 11-game hitting streak to move "comfortably" over .500 OPS.

we had a slight bounce back after a few moves and got within 1 game of first just to get swept and back to last place, 4 out!

What a sad day. Phillies looked so good through most of the post season but didn't adjust to AZ's pitching plan. Beginning of the series we swung at a lot of 1st pitches. AZ adjusted and last two games we chased so many bad pitches and quickly got down 0-1 & 02 in ab's then had to swing at everything close. Just a bad approach.

Casty finished 0-23 with 11k's. Turner finished 0-18.

AZ played great and I can accept losing to someone who's playing well but our approach at the plate is disappointing.
