Bingo!
Naturally I opted for Beta back then, and have continued making bad decisions ever since, especially in Strat.

I am pretty excited as well. I am wanting to start a keeper league and play through every MLB season.

Beta had better sound quality.
We didn't make a bad decision, the rest of the world did.

Some Max FAQ's showed up in the SOM email today:

Baseball MAX FAQ

Is the game play in Baseball MAX based on Strat-O-Matic card information?

Absolutely! Baseball MAX employs the same game engine featured in our Windows game. The outcomes are determined by simulated dice rolls and player cards, mirroring the digital games we already have. The 1 through 10 ratings in the game offer quick, at-a-glance representations of player ratings and card results for easy comparisons.

Is Baseball MAX just an extremely simplified version of Strat aimed at new users?

While Baseball MAX provides a more accessible entry into Strat-O-Matic than the Windows game, it maintains the detail and accuracy of our current Strat-O-Matic games. The straightforward experiences are designed to get both new users and seasoned Strat-O-Matic fanatics playing quickly and easily. It utilizes the Super-Advanced cards and rules found within the Windows game. Additionally, Baseball MAX's development doesn’t end at release, with continuous updates, upgrades, and improvements planned. Features like on-screen dice rolls and card images on the gameplay screen, although not available at launch, are on the roadmap for future additions.

When will the beta period conclude?

The beta period’s end does not have a set date. We aim to thoroughly test the product, allow more gamers access, and implement updates before transitioning the game to a paid product.

Can I easily manage stats and game files on Baseball MAX for league members who struggle to do so?

Yes! No manual management is required. Once you create your draft league, everything is automated – from maintaining your live draft to creating the league schedule. Games can be played live or simulated as desired, with real-time updates as games are played.

I'm able to do (fill in the blanks) with the Windows game. Currently you can't seem to do that with Baseball MAX. Will we be able to do that?

Baseball MAX is designed as discreet Experiences and it will not support every variation of league and game play available with the Windows game. However, we will be rolling out new Experiences and improvements to existing Experiences on an ongoing basis. We have many exciting upgrades in the pipeline, but we won't be announcing them until we get closer to launch. Right now, our primary focus will be on cleaning up bugs during the BETA test period, but stay tuned for future updates.

What will happen to my investment in Windows seasons?

Rest assured, your investment in Windows seasons remains intact. The Windows game isn’t going anywhere! New features will be added every year as usual. Strat-O-Matic Baseball 2024 and the latest cards will be released this February with the 2023 season launching on Baseball 365 shortly after. Baseball MAX is simply another exciting way to enjoy Strat – just like the Board game, Windows game, and Baseball 365.

Does anybody know what features this question refers to?

I have been enjoying Max but would like to play a human! I am edwardsmarshall82, and I am usually looking for a game around 8a-9a Central, sometimes 4-5p Central as well. Hit me up if you wanna play on Max. Any Era is interesting to me. You call the Era, I'm in.
