PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

A player’s eligibility is based on the years represented on his card – specifically the first and last. A player’s rookie season is the first year on his card – if their first card is pre-1971 or 1971, then 1971 is their rookie season. A player’s retirement season is based on the last year on their card. Same for each decade.

RESERVING PLAYERS

Teams reserve players by keeping them on their team roster. During the season, you have rights to any eligible player on your team, but once released they are available to any other team.

At the end of every season, you retain rights to all players on your roster for next season. ALL PLAYERS MUST BE ON YOUR DRAFT LIST, IF THEY ARE NOT, THEY WILL BECOME FREE AGENTS.***

***The 1M or less players will be free agents every season, with no team reserving their rights season-to-season. Eligible for the 2 rounds draft and AUTO-DRAFT.

Season 2, 1972 to Season 9, 1979.
Rookies : 2 rounds draft every season (12-1, 1-12). Rookies + Players 1M and less.
NEW : No FREE AGENTS OVER 1M AVAILABLE IN THE 2 ROUNDS DRAFT BEFORE 1978***. AUTO-DRAFT ONLY.

NEW : Rookies available for draft 1972 : First card 1972 / + 1.. If you choose a rookie from 73 he will not be available to play in 1972. Same rules will apply for every next draft.

PLAYERS NOT DRAFTED will be available to any team as free agents (available through the auto-draft, waivers) as long as they are eligible to play.

Unique ballparks, to be picked during the inaugural draft. You will be able to change it after any season for one that is available / BEFORE THE AUTO-DRAFT.

All the 1M and less are eligible to play every seasons... But NO KEEPER.
