Strat won't let that happen. In my example the 70s team cant have a Brett card from 70s and at the same time the 80s team have a Brett card from the 80s. Only one "George Brett" can be in the game. Thus, it is entirely dependent on what spot you put Brett on your rankings. Same for Lou Gehrig... he can only be on the 20s team or the 30s team depending on which owner ranked him higher.

This is the first time I've tried this, my understanding is a player such as George Brett can be taken in multiple decades. If this is not the case whomever loses the player can pick up another to replace them.

yes. only the owner of the 70s team or the 80s team can put Brett on his autodraft card. Whichever has him ranked higher will get him. Brett has no cards in any other decade so no one else can own him. same with a ton of guys. I was just replying to RJ that you do need to rank your players as that is crucial to getting guys that have cards in multiple decades.

I'll wait for responses before I make myself ready for the draft. In particular, is the roster final after the autodraft or does your decade serve as your farm system?

I looked at the 40s and it’s just not a deep team compared to other decades- no pitching makes it worse. I also looked a pre-1900 (to propose) but again was just thin. Had pitching but not much enough hitting. Sorry

If you make the last decade a combo of the 40's and pre 1900 I would do it.

Or NELs and the 1940s....
