I feel your frustration. It is very hard to take sometimes. I am using my credits and just started in a league where I started well and like you had bad luck and went 1 and 14 since now worst record.
Exactly, Holy Moley! And, everyone deals with injuries, not just Mr. Steffanni. The smart owners use this to their advantage, as in the most simple example, 15-day max guys usually offer more upside than 3-day guys at roughly the same salary, and so on, something to calculate when building a team.
I frequently have 3-5 15 gamers on my roster at all times. The value for the price is outstanding, and if each one only miss an average# of games (about 20), I typically have a very good offense. About 25% of time injuries are high and I struggle, but the other 75% I make playoffs at a pretty good rate. Risk reward.
Sorry to see you're frustrated but to be honest, this seems pretty normal in terms of injuries. Winning managers do well with indestructible players, all the way down to very injury prone. Perhaps you should start using only 3 game injury risk guys and more indestructibles? This is very much under your control to an extent.
These post always confuse me a little. I get the frustration but what’s the answer exact stats replicated? Doesn’t sound as fun to me. Do people complain when a guy who is carded for 525 at bats gets 600+? I like the randomness to the game. It shouldn’t be an exact copy to real life. I just had a team with all 3’s and higher get 95 wins. There’s value to those cards and when used more often than not you will have more at bats then expected.
