For example, Jeff Bagwell's $12.08M card is simply one of the best impact cards in the set. I'll gladly take his 15 game injury risk any day -- and in any park. Just finished a season with him on a small ball team in Dodger Stadium '64 -- 1 on HRs, L and R, 4 on L singles and 7 on R singles.

The result: 149 games played, .344 BA .417 OBP .676 SA, 207 hits, 51 doubles, 5 triples, 46 HRs, 142 RBIs.

I always love it when a player gets more than 100 extra base hits, difficult to do. Bagwell had 102.

I had 40+ hrs from pudge with the 4 injury and Alou with the 3. The Correa card plays up , tatis jr , and so many others

Bagwell played in 110 of the Astro's 115 games in the strike shortened season of 1994. If you look at the 1994 cards of all players they are all 1 or worse. Except Frank Thomas - he is a 0. 'Splain that to me Lucee!

Bagwell also got hurt a few days before the strike and likely would've missed the rest of the season in any case.

Wow, 95 wins from an oft-injured team lineup! Tip of the hat!

True what Max says, Bagwell suffered a broken hand right before the strike: https://www.upi.com/Archives/1994/08/11 ... 776577600/

He did his best in two-thirds of a season.

Most people underestimate the impact of injuries on an MLB team. Star players often miss significant time during their careers yet here the expectation is that player should all play 162 games.

This is the crux of it. Anomalies are to be expected in a dice-based computer simulation. I see plenty of cherry-picked data points (humans are quite adept at spotting data that falls outside the norm) that "prove" there's an injury bug. I have yet to see an analysis that attempts to show that the actual vs expected injuries for a given injury rating fall outside the expected standard deviation across multiple seasons.

I love Strat and 365. i find it addictive. my favorite aspect is all the different ways you can try to find an advantage in the margins. sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

i was about to take a break as i had 10 teams in a row without a championship, then lo and behold i had my first 100 win season, my best player, Delahanty got injured for 5 in game 162, but i was able to get thru it and pull out a championship.

now i'm all jacked up and ready to start my next team.

injuries are the epitome of randomness with the dice roles, but agree you can mitigate this mainly with who you draft.

we need more juice and young blood in 365. i'm worried that MAX is going to steal players from 365!

Don't let 10 seasons in a row w/o a title get you down. Recently I had a streak of 23 seasons w/o one, including losing in the finals 7 times!
