1. 2021 Jake Cronenworth SD 2b-1e10 2-time All-Star at 2b. Gives the Padres a 1 at 2b. All of their current second basemen are 3s or 4s!! Let's help the Padres out and give them some defense at second! A HUGE add for the Padres franchise! Check out his card in the 2021 set - https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/95170/2021/1/2021

3. 1890 Kid Gleason 38-17 2.63 - Watching 8 Men Out again, it occurred to me that we should have a Kid Gleason pitching card. This would appear to be his best season.
4. 1937 Don Padgett Stl OF - FREE DON PADGETT! Those of you in Andy's Alt leagues will recognize this rallying cry. The 1937 version: 477 PA, .314 BA, .357 OBP, .457 SLG, .815 OPS. He wants to play!
5. 1936 Arky Vaughan Pit SS .335/.453/.474 Would give us his second best season and we could use more options with lefty shortstops
6. 2022 Edwin Diaz NYM RH CL 0/1/6 1.31 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, 17.1 K/IP, 13/7 OBP (only singles and walks) without the BP singles, all non X chart or on base readings are K's. Sound the trumpets! https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/93530/2022/1/2022
7. 1945 Ray Prim CHC LH SP/RP 2.40 ERA, .0998 WHIP, 153 ERA+, led league in ERA, WHIP, ERA+, H/9, BB/9, SO/W. 38 year-old "Pop" was an essential cog to the Cubs' winning the NL pennant. Prim posted a posted a hard-to-fathom 1.27 ERA in his final 113? innings, completed eight of 13 starts among 19 appearances, and won 11 of 14 decisions. Would give the Cubs needed LH pitching. No card.
8. 1965 Billy Williams. CHC This HOF is always on the high salary cap waiver wire. His current cards are E, 2R, and 3R, but this 929 OPS is a 5L. Really good reverse lefty numbers LF 2 (+1)10 RF 3e10 CF4e10
9. 1980 Al Bumbry - He has 3 cards, but not his best season. All Star, 13th in MVP voting, 2nd best AVB, OBP & OPS, 44 stolen bases only caught 11 times, 5 errors all season in CF and BULLETPROOF. Alternate would be his ROY season of 1973. Hard to believe 3 cards for him but neither of his 2 best seasons. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/831515/1680/1/80
10. 1975 Doug Rau, LAD, LH SP*, 3R / 257.2 IP, 15-9, 3.07 ERA, 1.118 WHIP. Stingy with walks and XBH. Good fielding, WP, BK, etc. ratings. Hard to find 3-day-rest LHSP who are tougher on righties at a reasonable price point. Priced probably $5.50-$6.50M. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/739903/1670/1/70
11. 1938 Buddy Myer WAS Bats-L BAL-2R 2b-2e16 INJ Risk-15 This Myer card is a 2, plus has great OBP and good hitting…………..Directly from Andy's link -- looks good to me!!! https://forum-365.strat-o-matic.com/com ... 1d042d884b
12. 1987 Mark McGwire, A's 1B 3e12, 3B 4e37 Bats R .289 49 118 .370 .618 .987. McGwire's rookie card, pre-steroids. Led AL in HRs & SLG. Rookie of the year. Set MLB record for HRs by a rookie. Not his best card, but a good card & would be the only PED free McGwire card in ATG9. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/803176/1680/1/80
13. 1989 Jose DeLeon, STL, RH SP. Mainstay for a few years. Had 2-19 season for PIT after 2 good years before. Finally put together a winning season here. Righty killer. No ATG card. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/832927/1680/1/80
14. 2019 DJ Lemahieu NYY 2b-1e5 / 3b-2e14 / 1b-2e11 4L Bal. .327 26 102 4th in MVP voting. Probably won't be as expensive as his current card but more versatile
https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/91416/2019/1/2019
15. 1930 Adam Comorosky Pittsburgh Pirates righty hitter plays LF & Cf Hitting .313 Racking Up 187 Hits including 47 doubles and a league leading 23 TRIPLES he also hit 12 Home runs.
Another player from the Great Season of 1930!
16. 1958 Willie Mays New York Giants CF stellar defense as usual, but a different kind of Mays card than current ones. Highest lifetime average (.347), .419 OBP (second highest in his career), .583 SA, 31 steals, 29 HRs, 11 triples, 33 doubles. All-around season for the 27-year-old Mays at his peak, might be a bit cheaper alternative to his current ones. ***If anyone has the card image for Mays' '58 season, please insert link here.***
17. 2007 Orlando Cabrera LAA SS - Gold glove and 300 hitter for the Angels. A stealing, SS-1 and a rest of game injury only on this card. Would be useful in Franchise Leagues where the Angels are Woefully thin. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/172/2007/1/2007
18. 1987 Juan Samuel PHI 2B 3e18 - average defense but a pretty good bat for a great player who's currently sadly underrepresented in Strat. Had a + average against righties and 80/178 of his hits went for extra bases, not to mention he's bulletproof. Also a sentimental favorite of mine because I saw him in 1980 in his first minor league assignment with the Central Oregon Phillies.
19. 2022 Justin Verlander, Hou, SP. - 18-4, led league in ERA, ERA+, WHIP. Cy Young winner. A great year for a HOF pitcher. Houston franchise needs a top notch SP for franchise leagues. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/90604/2022/1/2022
20. 1970 Joe Torre, St. Louis Cardinals, Catcher/3b. All-star, 18th in MVP voting, 704 PA (only 2 other catchers in ATG have cards with in game only injury rating) .896 OPS, 6.1 WAR
21. 2022 Sandy Alcantara, Miami Marlins, SP, CY Young winner, All-Star. 14-9, 2.28 ERA, led league in innings, complete games, shutouts. Won 14 games on an awful team. They only won 69 games. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/93955/2022/1/2022
22. 1930 Ed Morgan 1B, Cleveland Indians, 3 game injury risk, RH hitter slashed .349/.413/.601, 47 doubles, 11 triples, 26 HR's. Love his current ATG card, this one should be even better!
23. 1990 Cal Ripken Bal SS 2e3 all-time record for fewest errors in a season with only 3! only hit 257 but still had over 20 HR's and 20 Doubles. plus he's bulletproof to injury. we need this card as an alternative to the Crosetti card which has 18 instead of just 3 errors. show Cal some love!
24. 1931 Al Simmons, A's, OF, Bats R .390 22 128 .444 .641 1.085 Led AL in batting for the 2nd straight year. Career high in OBP and OPS+, 2nd career high in TR, OPS and batting. Near career high in SLG. 3rd in MVP voting.
25. 2016 Kenta Maeda LAD SP, 16-11, 3.48 ERA, 175 2/3 innings, 179 K's, his rookie season, finished 3rd in ROY voting
https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/92812/2016/1/2016
26. 1984 Dave Winfield NYY, .340 / .397 / .515, 19 HR, runner up in batting title, 2R balance, RF 1(-4)

27. 1979 Luis Tiant NYY SP 13-8, 3.91 ERA, 195.2 innings, 104 Ks
28. 1982 Dave Hostetler Texas Rangers 1B-4 RHH 5R 2.98 mil . For those of us that like to play
themed leagues, we can always use RHH who hit RHP at a good price. 418 AB , 22 HR https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/35599/1982/2/1982
29. 1956 Sandy Amoros, Brooklyn Dodgers, LHH 8R, LF-RF 3e12, CF 4e12 (+1) - ST-D, R 1-15, BNT-A, H&R-D, 292 AB, 11 2B, 8 3B, 16 HR, 59 W, 51 K, .260/.385/.517. Surprisingly not in the set yet. His legendary catch and baserunner kill in Game 7 of the '55 Series saved the Dodgers' first world championship. Fortunately he checks in with a very playable card with strong XBH and HR and as an inexpensive LH platoon option in the OF. Looks a lot like '83 Lowenstein; probably priced in the $2.40-$2.80M range.
30. 1985 Rich Gedman, Red Sox, C 3(-3)e10 Bats L 5R .295 18 80 .362 .484. .846. Career highs in HITS, BA, DO, RBI & OPS. This is easily the best season for the longtime BoSox backstop. Big improvement over his other ATG card.

34. 1959 Tito Francona CLE cf-1b-lf. This card would be used.

2022 Alejandro Kirk Blue Jays. .285/.372/.415. The Jays franchise desperately need a catcher that can hit and the 2022 Kirk card would be a huge upgrade over the current ATG options for the Jays.

1. 2021 Jake Cronenworth SD 2b-1e10 2-time All-Star at 2b.
2. 2022 Aaron Judge NYY RF-1(-4)e0 Self explanatory. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/92957/2022/1/2022
3. 1890 Kid Gleason 38-17 2.63 - Watching 8 Men Out again, it occurred to me that we should have a Kid Gleason pitching card.
26. 1984 Dave Winfield NYY, .340 / .397 / .515, 19 HR, runner up in batting title, 2R balance, RF 1(-4)
https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/843076/1680/1/80
27. 1979 Luis Tiant NYY SP 13-8, 3.91 ERA, 195.2 innings, 104 Ks
28. 1982 Dave Hostetler Texas Rangers 1B-4 RHH 5R 2.98 mil .

31. 1968 - Randy Hundley - Chicago Cubs / Caught 160 of 162 games / offense was bad - .226 - BA, but 160 games caught will never happen again https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/35730/1660/1/60
32. 1971 Jerry Grote NYM C https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/34715/1971/4/1971
33. 2003 Todd Helton - Bulletproof (703 PA's) - .358/.458/.630 - unlike his other 2 cards which are both 3R, this one is either 1L or 2L. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/501/1700/1/120
34. 1959 Tito Francona CLE cf-1b-lf. This card would be used. Bats: Left Slant: 3R Slashline .363/.419/.566 CF-4/LF-4e11 Arm +1 1B-4e5
35. 1979 Gorman Thomas MIL CF Career highs in HR (45) RBI (123) OBP (.356) SLG (.539) and OPS (.895). 3 game max injury risk, his best season, better than existing cards. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/742002/1670/1/70
36. 1988 Gary Gaetti MIN 3B - It would be his best card. I believe he is a 1 at 3B that season. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/803208/1680/1/80
37. 1972 Pat Dobson BALT SP - Even though he lost 18 games, this was his best season. His ERA was 2.65, his WHIP was. only 1.07. He gave up only 13 home runs in 268 innings. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/733085/1670/1/70
38. 2022 Alejandro Kirk Blue Jays. .285/.372/.415. The Jays franchise desperately need a catcher that can hit and the 2022 Kirk card would be a huge upgrade over the current ATG options for the Jays. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/95120/2022/1/2022
39. 1917 Benny Kauff NYG Bats-L BAL-E CF/LF/RF-1(-2)e9. Federal League Star. Although his Federal League card isn't available, here's a good Giants season from him, 1 in all 3 OF spots, good speed, good OBP, nice for a cheaper smallball alternative.
40. 1981 Carney Lansford 3B AL batting champion, good hit man @ .336
