Looks like my #2 team - The Twisted Arms aren't going to be doing much this season.

If you're in need of a boost now to help you make it to a championship or to try to move up to a higher league I've got a handful of heavy hitters that are in their final season and willing to move them for some long term replacements that may not be as good, but add stability.

Congrats to our season 5 title winners:

- In the Champions Division, jflatour99 took the lead in game 27 and never looked back, finishing the season with 102 wins -- this capped a great 3-season arc of title & promotion / promotion / title at the top
- In AAA, there was much greater competition, with the title not decided until the last night, when chilliards held on to claim it, with 91 wins -- this was his 2nd straight title
- In AA, denorien took the lead at game 152 and confirmed his title on the last night, with 87 wins -- this is also his 2nd title
- The 18 teams combined for another high total of 16,641 runs, at an average of 925 per team, only 2% lower than season 4

In individual performances...

- Bill Terry had the highest BA again at .390
- Babe Ruth set a new slugging record at a stunning .835 *
- Ted Williams had OBP of .481
- Babe Ruth broke his own OPS record at 1.299 *
- Babe Ruth hit the most HR at 81 *
- Jud Wilson was the best base stealer, with 41 SB

- Dazzy Vance had the most wins at 29 *
- Dazzy Vance had the lowest ERA for qualified SPs at 3.42
- Dazzy Vance again had the most CG at 32
- Tommy Bridges had the most saves at 36

At the opposite end of the spectrum, consolation prizes -- i.e., chances to win the draft lottery -- go to:

I didn't try to figure it out precisely, but I think all three of the season 5 winners had won their 1st title in a previous season. Thus, there are several franchises with two wins, maybe more than the number of franchises with one win, and several still competing for their 1st win. No one has three wins yet.
