Alphabet Draft league

Thanks to rbtsmith for permission to use his league idea.

Alphabet Draft League - 6 team, 999M, DH, use any stadium.

The draft will take place in two parts - order determined using a 1-6 randomizer. The draft will be held on the private league message board.

Part 1: A two round serpentine draft (# 1-6, then # 6-1) where individual players whose last name begins with either the letter B or M are selected.

Part 2: A two round serpentine draft in the opposite order (# 6-1, then # 1-6) where letters of the alphabet are chosen. All players whose last name begins with the chosen letter are included on your team and are exclusively yours. Any letter of the alphabet is available for this round, including B and M, but the players selected in part 1 will not be included should you select B or M.

All players whose last names begin with the 14 unselected letters will be available for free agents at waivers and throughout the season.

Trading is unlimited.

The draft will be conducted on the league message board once there are 6 managers and the league is created.

We're entering teams before we do the live draft?

Yes - we can conduct the draft through the league messaging.

As soon as all 6 teams have entered, I will request a randomizer by a manager not connected to the league.

I have never entered a league BEFORE Drafting players. Don’t even know how.

Yeah I'm not sure who to put on my card. The potential to play havoc with waivers is also high.

Don't put anyone on your card. Don't choose a stadium. Just enter the league and we make selections on league messaging. Since it's a private league, there isn't the requirement to add players before joining.
