Is Ohtani available to hit and pitch in 2018, or was this option not available until later seasons?

From the game rules...

Beginning with the 2021 season (and 2022 Baseball Daily), Shohei Ohtani is able to both pitch and hit in the same game using his 2 individual pitching and hitting cards. Previously, in the 2018 season and 2021 Baseball Daily player sets, he had 2 different cards but you could only own one of them at a time.
