I second all of what moodysix wrote including:
I would like to see the semifinal and final rounds be at least the 3 round live draft and preferably 6-8 rounds. I know we can occasionally get hung up if someone delays us with their pick, but barrmorris's solution for that this year worked wonderfully and nobody seemed to complain.

I have little or no knowledge outside of the Players Championship. I finished 1st in the 5-season preliminary this year. I felt the above was an appropriate reward in the semi-final and final's draft.

I don't do any drafts on the forums, so that "issue" may be a matter for the board to address if I ever get enough volunteers for the board. That being said, in the FINALS, at Barnstormers we do a LIVE DRAFT on the SOM site. The limitations of that are that the full 25 rounds plus an optional stadium is necessary. We cant do a three round draft. We used to be able to do that on Diamond Dope, but that never supported the 20XX game.

Speaking of the Board, I welcome FORMER CHAMPION thisisray, who volunteered to join along with X Howser Jr - looking for two more.

Once I finalize the Event CAPS and pick the dates of each event, I will turn this over to SOM to ready our main page. I feel we have made good progress in this thread to get ME to a point where I understand the requirement to CONTINUE in the traditions of other volunteer commissioners and have a challenging tour.

SOM will be engaged in banner advertisements and other such things to promote the tour as we try to reach the 120 needed for credits for all finalists and semi-final participants. (Top 45)

Regarding the 3 round draft. While I initially shot that down, I have asked SOM if they could modify the Live Draft app to allow the creator to set the number of picks and then let the autodraft kick in and fill out the rest of the rosters.

This is a major change to Live Draft app but we have some time before this would need to be working. The "board" could test this in a dummy league before we bless it. I will report back if SOM gives this project a green light.
