another possible solution is to do away with relegation. pick divisions and leave teams in the or do a random assignment of divisions at the beginning of each season.

while I enjoyed being the dark horse back in the day, (which kev reminded me every round of the subsequent draft), i would have accepted just being the overall bad team i had back then.

I get that, I just don't see his post only your quote of it. I'm sure you aren't making it up, and if it's legit, I do want the deal. I just can't find nythawk's post saying HE wanted it. Where did you quote it from???
