Looking at the Google page I found no transactions for round 7 so this is a chalk round.

Some strong opinions about clocks here. Different leagues have clocks on weekends or don't. Clock or time slots are at the discretion of the Commissioner, as per the rules, and it was never turned off. I could have stated more plainly that it's still on, but thought that was a given since it was never turned off. Sorry if that caused a problem for anyone.

This is becoming less and less enticing to be commissioner in this league. If anyone else would like the job, it's all yours. I personally don't need the headache of having folks flame on in the comments section and emailing me their dissatisfaction about how things are run. Feel free to post here, and I'll assign the Google doc to whomever wants the job.

I will take over for the remainder of the draft. I will tell all of you that I work on the Left Coast and drive a semi. I work 55 to 60 hours a week. I am home almost every night but only have about 3 hours to eat and get stuff done before I go to bed. Nothing will be updated until after 5pm PST. You will need to make sure you check and see if players that you want have already been drafted in the last or current round. I have a camera in my truck and if I even pick up my phone my dash cam goes off and I get a call. I don't touch my phone during work hours when I am driving. I stop 3 to 5 times a day and check it but won't spend the time updating or fixing any problems. That is the deal.

We are actually on a nice pace to finish early next week. I am retired teach just one class a week, so I am happy to do any proxy picks if everyone else is busy.
We have a wonderful league. Let's keep it that way.

I'm not taking my ball and going home, and not looking for sympathy here, but this is a time commitment, and I have enough things going on that I wouldn't mind not having to run the league. I work remotely and have a lot of zoom meetings, so I can spend time updating unless I have to be in-person for work or out with the kiddo/family. I'm fine either way, and shared editor access for chasenally.
