My team is surprisingly keeping its head above water despite playing 27 of 30 games on the road. My series Thursday with KLX ends the stretch 33 of the next 45 are at home after that.

After this series, we will have played 12 at home versus 27 on the road.

I think Jeep mentioned this schedule quirk a couple of seasons ago.

Just happy we're finding a way to stay up with Spider who is playing .667 at home!

Ok, you guys are being boring so I'll make some observations from the standings. Let's see if I can get at least one observation from each team.

Only three teams with a run Dif greater than +1: Big A, Randy, JTJ and Spider

Randy is smoking the one runners (12-3) and KLX isn't too bad at 13-7. OTOH, Dale is -5 and Spider a sympathy inducing -10!

Strangely Randy pythag is the same as his w/l even with all the one run wins.

An oddity, JTJ is 7-8 on one run games, but 6-2 in extras. Is it that he can only win one run games in extras or does he win extras by more than one? Stoney has similar numbers with 6-6 and 4-0.

Spider can't wait to get back into the division where he's 12-6 while 10 under versus the other divs. He also wants to play at home all the time. Randal is happy to play out of the division where he's 20-7:!:

Semper is also a home body where he's 18-12 versus 10-14 on the road. He's also much better v RHP.

Despite Milleram's tough start, he's been good in one run games 8-3.

The east is a close division with Big A on top by a game over KLX, but the other two teams are only 4 back.

Hawk has a better run diff than the next two teams ahead of him in the standings.

Steve has been very good v LHP 9-3. Much better than the .333 win pct v RHP.

Jeep also hasn't been good v LHP, but fortunately for him, he's only had six games facing lhsp so far! He's happy about this because he's 1-5 against them!

All these stats, of course, are relatively small sample sizes, but figured I'd put something out there to see if you guys are still paying attention.

After a stretch of losing 13 of 14 I have scratched my way into a least the wild card picture by winning 14 of 18, with a long way to go. Never seen such a streaky team. Olson is carrying the team with 20 hr's. We have used our speed to our advantage by stealing 44 bases out of 53 attempts.

The division is pretty muddled up so far with fortunately no one running away and hiding.

i can only imagine what our record would be if we had not blown 17 out of 32 save opportunities!

Pretty disappointed with the performance of my team to date. Team ERA is pretty terrible 4.72 in Chase. Bullpen has been unlucky. Similar teams have done much better in auto leagues but obviously the competition here is stiffer. My team ERA should be around 3.6-3.8. Hopefully, things settle down the rest of the way. Realmuto has turned out to be a dud offensively. I think Gausman is also a dud but can't find anyone better for less money. The objective now is to finish the season at .500. No chance to make the playoffs.
