An update on 365 participation

PostThu May 02, 2024 11:39 am

Never sure which forum to post this in, but I'll do ATG this time:

Updated 365 usage: We appear to have leveled off following the pandemic spike and then decline. Total new leagues is about 40% above pre-pandemic numbers, but Tournament play is about the same as pre-pandemic numbers.

Very interesting. Using a market analogy, I'd continue to ride the winner (ATG) and cut my losses on the laggard (Daily).

The Covid bump resulted in a 50% increase in ATG and the Single Season games. The cool thing is that the increase held from last year to this.

Thanks for posting this - this is really interesting and surprising. When I joined about 8 years ago, I was 40 and was struck by the fact that I seemed to be one of the youngest players here. Since this isn't exactly the sort of game Gen Z is going to be flocking to, I was prepared to enjoy it while it could as it steadily and inevitably declined. Really happy to see it maintaining! -matt
