What about foreign born players, there a quite a few

Foreign born players were considered, but decided that the states needed to battle it out 1st.

Check out New England with the likes of Lajoie, Cochrane, Hartnett, Bagwell, and more! If you're into California Dreaming, the state is so deep in talent its been split in 3! Check out the north, south, and LA county! If you like New York, It's New York ,New York the city & New York the rest of the state! Or perhaps New Yorks little bro; New Jersey. I see Trout, Goslin, Jeter & more! Don't like those, maybe your allegiance is to Florida or Illinois. If you're not a dazzling urbanite, maybe the Great Western states would be appealing. Come on In! These won't last long!!

It's odd that nobody has claimed any NY or California teams.
Perhaps that''s because of the work involved to break down the counties.
