Thankfully my division pals don't seem to want to capitalize --- yet!
I definitely can see that big lead going up in smoke.

Well, despite the slump, you're still up b 6 games!

Meanwhile in the east, the standings are the exact opposite of the run differential. How weird is that!??!!

Talk about a good news, bad news scenario, we got a rare sweep of Keith's squad, but came out of the series limping:

Your Current Injuries
Edman, Tommy, through Game 112
McCann, James, through Game 113
Pillar, Kevin, through Game 113
Crawford, J.P., through Game 114

Not going to be fun tonight, especially playing Joe's Cherry Trees.

Well, you managed to take two so I guess it didn't go *too* badly!

After a horrendous first half where we sank to a low of 35-51, we have recovered to semi-respectability with a 59-58 record. That's 24-7 in the last 31 games.

There is no chance of catching JTJ, but a wildcard berth now appears to be a possibility if the dice rolls don't abandon me.

It must be contagious. Here's what you did to me tonight (plus taking 2 games)

Your Current Injuries
Remillard, Zach, through Game 123
Henry, Tommy, through Game 124
Outman, James, through Game 126

Recently Off the Injured List
Volpe, Anthony, healthy for Game 117
Devers, Rafael, healthy for Game 120
Flores, Wilmer, healthy for Game 121

I'll miss a second start from an SP and I think Abreu will get anotehr start. oh boy.

In the meantime, Steve is on another hot streak, going 14-5. ugh. Oh, and we play them next missing the above players. I guess the bright side is we finally get Flores back so that's good. :)

I feel that! Since game 106, my team has had 55 games worth of injuries spanked down by HAL. I guess they don't like when a team has a big division lead?

That's crazy, now you're 32 saves and 31 BS. Interesting to note.... Bautista is 14 of 19, 74% but the rest of the pen, only one of the current staff has a salary greater than a buck, is 18 of 44. Of course, Bednar was also bad before you cut him, 2 of 6.

Finally got the ratings done. Had to wait till after game 81 and then I just got super busy. Anyway, it's done.

Interesting to note that the ratings are down over last year. Not sure exactly why other than maybe the pricing was a little tougher to build a high rated team?

Code: Select all
Team...   O...   P...   F..   P+F.   Ovrl   Div
JoeTJet   7940   5311   522   5832   2189   W

Dale...   7515   5435   526   5961   1608   E

West looks like the toughest division. The other two are close

Code: Select all

East   7712   5462   469   5931   1833
Cent   7747   5397   536   5934   1868
West   7606   5159   389   5548   2121

A lot of variability from the ratings in the Overall ratings.

Stones and Spider way below expectations. Semper also low with KLX and Dale well above. Randal a bit high also.

Code: Select all
Team Ov   Ovrl   Rtg   Rec   Dif
JoeTJet   2189   2   2   0   W
Stoney.   2172   2   9   -7   W

hawk...   1701   11   8   3   C
Dale...   1608   12   7   5   E

Offense not too bad, but not as close as I've seen in the past. Steve is high, several are a bit low: KLX, Miller, Spider. Randal maybe a bit high

Code: Select all
Team Of   O   Rtg   Run   Dif
KLX....   8275   1   4   -3

stevep.   7438   8   4   4
hawk...   7333   11   10   1

Pitching/Fielding is closer than the offense. Steve is low. Hawk maybe a little high. Everyone else is relatively close

Code: Select all
Team PF   P+F   Rtg   Run   Dif
BigAlrc   5170   1   1   0

SemperG   6040   8   9   -1
Jeep...   6067   8   8   0
KLX....   6621   12   10   2

Luck Factors

Not surprising to me Stoney has been VERY unlucky: Rolling on the wrong card one run, Pythag, Unearned run ratio and injuries!

Dale and JTJ have been unlucky to a lesser extent. Dale in bp rolls, and one runs. JTJ in bp rolls and injuries.

On the other side things have gone well for Milleram. BPHRs, one runners, and pythag.

Others are pretty close for the most part.

Fielding has bigger differences than usual this time around. JTJ, KLX and Jeep are a little better than expected.
