2016 Unleased filling now - Filled!

We have been playing a series of seasons using the unleashed sets. We are currently filling 2016. We are about half filled and looking for players to jump in and join. It's been a lot of fun playing down memory lane, so come hop on in!

I have never played the online game before but played the dice game for many years. I bought two teams for the $14.95 introductory price and signed up for your league with one of them. I lived in Chicago in 2016, and even though I'm not a Cubs fan (Orioles! Can you tell by my name?), it was a historic baseball season. I hope we can fill this by Friday, too! How long does it usually take?

Its hard to say. We had a big rush getting in the first day, then it slowed. Once we hit a critical mass of 15 or 16 (so a few more) you often see people jump in thinking it will fill soon.

Lots of people on here more than willing to help you with setting up the online game vs the dice and cards. Dont be shy about asking questions as there are some differences in how you set things up. Good luck!

Hi Chris, what is the difference between an unleashed set and regular set? I'm fairly new and never been in a 24 team league - it seems like an interesting experience.

The best I can determine, an "Unleashed" set integrates the "Fluke" cards from the dice game. Hitters with limited AB or Pitchers with limited IP who would be superstars and potentially skew realistic results are excluded from the primary set of cards but can be purchased and integrated for a price. In the online game, they're just added to the mix without any increase in price.

Yes, the unleashed has players with limited real life at bats and cards that reflect those fluke stats. But, they are priced appropriately for the quality of the card.
