Good Luck Playoff teams. A disappointing season for the Accents, but we were not a p/o caliber team.

You have the tiebreaker with KLX so you have to win 2 more than he does tonight. If he wins 1, you have to sweep to get in.

My head to head record with him was 6-6 but he had the advantage in runs scored so I think a tie would have given him the playoff berth. However, it is all academic now...Cheers.

Yeah, I was looking at a different opponent, my mistake.

Playoffs have started. KLX crushed us in the first one, we won a nailbiter with the go ahead runs on base in the 9th after Heyward (1e9) made a two-base boot in the last one. Jarren Duran is KILLING us 5-9 with 2 HRs, a double and 6 RBI!

We split our season series with KLX, 3-3 in both parks, now 4-4 at home. Need to do better on the road to get to the next round. Big A is up 2-0 in the other series.

Geeze I have 15 hits in 4 games! Al isn't much better with only 21-- but 3 wins. 3 1-run games and a slaughter of 2 runs!
Couldn't be much tighter.

Wow, some nail biters for sure!

We've had to hold on to some leads against KLX. Up 9-1 in the 7th and had to hold on for a 9-6 win with Lewis at the plate against Robertson as the tying run! <whew> Got him on a 2bx to Semien.

Then the second game:
Down 2-1 after 1
Up 4-2 top of 5,
Tied 4-4 bottom of 5
Up 7-4 top of six
Up 7-5 bottom of six - retired Trout with one aboard.
Devers hits solo in the 9th to make it 8-5, but nootbaar makes it interesting with a leadoff 2b in bottom, but Suter gets past Trout, Rojas and Lewis for the save.
(Can you tell the games were played in Dodger Stadium?)

Up 3-1, but we've had our troubles here in the past Taking nothing for granted! KLX will be missing Seager for the rest of the series which might help, but we'll see what his sub does. Been burned by that before.

Thanks KLX! I'm sure it helped us that you had some guys go down with injuries during the series.

Yeah, it was a blown save, but in the 7th inning, with Schrieber on the mound, so not as bad as if it were Bautista in the 9th.

I had first and third with no outs in the 4th and 6th and didn't score, plus we had 2 guys gunned on the bases and a DP to boot. Not sure why Abrams was trying for third with 2 out in the 8th. I was beginning to think we were going to choke it away. Williamson was outstanding except for the one inning where you got both of your runs and 4 of your 7 runners.

Just happy to move on. Looks like Randy prolonged the series for another game with another close score. Speaking of a BS, 3 runs off of Clase in the 8th on a Velazquez HR!

Well, one save and one blown save -- That was about your ratio all season right? That is the most bizarre thing I have seen. 36 blown saves during regular season? Hard to imagine that! And your relievers don't suck either!

Meanwhile-- my team "erupted" for 3 runs last night to hang tough for one more night with Al! That brings my 5 game total to 8 runs and 21 hits! Offensive juggernaut! Judge got hurt early on for 15 games as well, so missing the league's leading OPS guy as well!

Rough go, but at least my team is hanging in there somewhat!
