Specialist Roles

I really try to avoid giving specific roles to Hal.
But I’m wondering about one thing .
With those low priced specialists who really dominate
from one side , do you think age solely using the avoid setting is better
than using the specialist setting ?
I’m curious which approach has the most success.

I like using the specialist setting more. I find it helps a lot in the 9th inning.

After much experimentation, I prefer to use lefty and righty specialist roles. I have seen the abyssmal decisions HAL makes when these settings are not enabled. I'm convinced it's superior to set these particular roles.

They’re the only roles I set. I either go with two on each side with a slow hook on the starters and one rp with a big fatigue number, or one for each and three rps that are about equal on both sides and around the same price
