Ok everyone let's start posting our drops for the Supplemental Draft along with what you are doing with any prospects that need to be added to the 40 man.
For example, as you see below, Clint has 4 prospects that need to be added to 40 man or cut. If he wanted to keep all 4 prospects AND have all 3 Supplemental draft picks, we would need Clint to post 7 total drops (4 for the prospects and 3 more to be able to draft in the Supplemental)
List the prospects separately as they do not count against your 40 man until promoted
Please post Last Name, First Name or First Name Last Name doesn't matter to me
Rick P and Ryan sit at 39 so will only have to drop 2 to utilize all 3 picks in draft and I sit at 38 so just need to drop 1. Everyone else can post a max of 3 players
Remember a couple things. Our max number of prospects in this keeper are 10 and all Summer 2022 prospects must be either promoted or cut
Smitty has 1, Terry has 2, Ray has 2, Chuck has 1, Clint has 4, Rick P has 3, MFL has 1 and Mike Z has 1
Nick, Jim, myself and Ryan have no 2022 Summer prospects to promote or cut
As a reminder:
1) A Supplemental Free Agent draft of up to three rounds will be held between seasons 1 and 2 of each calender year.
2) All owners must announce their roster drops (up to three) prior to the Supplemental draft.
3) Owners may draft no more than three players. Owners are not required to draft any players during the Supplemental draft.
4) Supplemental Free Agent drafts are non-sepentine. All draft orders will now be determined using the combined records of the two previous seasons played in order from fewest wins to most wins. Tie breakers will be determined based on run differential with the team with the worst run differential winning the tie breaker.
5) There will not be assigned times unless draft starts to slow down, at that point we'll go with assigned time slots for any remaining rounds.
6) The Supplemental Free Agent draft is only three rounds. Owners with fewer than 40 players on their active rosters may use the Supplemental Free Agent Draft to get back to a 40 man roster, provided this can be achieved within three rounds. There will never be more than 36 picks made in the Supplemental draft.
7) Any player with Major League Baseball regular season experience in any year prior to the current MLB season and who is not currently on a roster is eligible for the Supplemental Draft.
8) Owners can have more than three supplemental picks in a draft, but they lose the rights to all remaining picks after they have made their three selections. Any remaining supplemental picks are voided unless they are traded prior to their original owner making his third supplemental draft selection regardless of round.
