This team has limited talent. Any advice about how to improve will be appreciated.

Also, is there any talent available in the upcoming draft? If so, should I be more aggressive with my cuts?

Suggestions:

- This is a high turnover league. Drop anyone that doesn't contribute to winning this season or isn't having a noteworthy 2024. If you think you have a bad team this year, you might as well drop 10+ guys or trade good cards for picks. The biggest premium is good starting pitching. Don't drop a decent SP, but anyone else over the age of 26 with a mediocre card and a mediocre 2024, I say jettison.

- The talent availability is high at the top of the draft because salary cap is low ($110m) so some teams already have their roster set for this season before the draft. Those teams will be more speculative, not bothering as much to draft good cards but drafting young players or even a few prospects without cards.

- The talent drops off significantly in later rounds because there are 18 teams and each round gobbles so many players.

I just now emailed the list of CARDED players available for the 2023 annual draft to each manager for whom I have an address. If you did not receive it, please send me a current email address.

Teams may also carry up to 7 non-carded players, including professional, collegiate, foreign, etc. They do not need to have been signed by an MLB team.

Selections for carded players and non-carded players may be posted in any of the rounds.

Drafting this late in the MLB year means that most of the talent was scooped up in previous drafts. The Bums are desperate for pitching, however the available SPs are not very appealing. The following unicorns, with huge cards for 2023, are available for solid SPs:
