I am embarrassed to say that I am a huge Braves fan since I was a kid. But, I like to win and I am a big fan of Freeman. Still mad about them letting him go.

Ok. To be 100% sure in this brain fog that I am in, if someone is drafted or franchised in this season and they change leagues, you still hold the rights of the player but just have to be moved to the other team. Example, Ohtani was taken as an AL player but next season will be available on the same owner’s NL team? I just want to be sure since I have three players in this situation. Sorry to be a noob.

It is with great pleasure today that Houston Management Corporation have named HOF Nolan Ryan as their 1st coach and GM.Lynn Nolan Ryan Jr. (born January 31, 1947), nicknamed "the Ryan Express", is an American former professional baseball pitcher and sports executive. Over a record 27-year playing career in Major League Baseball and pitched for the New York Mets, California Angels, Houston Astros, and Texas Rangers. Manaagement is very pleased Ryan has accepted the offer and now will take full command of the Houston Colt 45's in the A.L.

The original four players selected from the respective MLB franchises will count towards this requirement until such time as they are released or traded by the Oktoberfest Keeper league manager who originally picked them. If they are removed from team roster of said manager, then they must be replaced with a carded player from the "parent" MLB club. I believe that a proposal similar to this one would help protect managers who selected small-market MLB teams in our league from the predatory practices of realworld clubs like the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers who tend to suck up the most valuable free-agents when they become available.

Each team will maintain a minimum of four players carded to their MLB franchise on their rosters. If, prior to an annual draft, such total drops below four, then the team will draft enough carded players to have at least that minimum of four in the new season.

I had not planned to select the Tigers, but I'm happy I did. I had a lot of fun at Briggs Stadium in the 1950s and early 60s!
