Does anyone use Auto Draft? Is it useful?

Thanks, Artie

I dont because I usually tailor my team to a specific ballpark or a specific concept. I imagine if you were in a league where all of the teams used this tool it could be entertaining.

i've used it to try to be the last team in an almost fulll league. but, i've subbed a few players quickly then joined. there are so many players in the pool, that re-configuring your team is ez after the draft. so I've used it as a "hurry up" tool, but not as my actual league roster that I roll out on opening day.

I will use in 80m or 100m leagues only when I see that I might get shut out from getting in. The times I have used it the teams required a complete overhaul. It's not too bad because the player pool is so deep and at the smaller caps not having a 10 million plus player doesn't hurt. Hal seems to spend too much money on bench players and favors 5 man rotations. but the worst part is that you usually wind up being last in waivers because the roster Hal spits out for you has players nobody wants. Once in a while you get a stud.

Question: Does SOM take into account the chosen ballpark when auto-drafting players to a team?
