Alfonso Soriano

PostSun Sep 08, 2024 6:00 am

It seems that it is possible for Alfonso Soriano to occupy two roster slots. Due to the fact that his two cards (NYY and WAS) are not linked to one another, they are coded as two separate players. Is this intentional, and if so, what would be the reasoning?

There seems to be a glitch in The Matrix.
Strat support might want to take a look at that. I don't think they'd blow up this team, but they can close the hole that let it happen.

If you download the database for ATG9, the Soriano seasons have different player ID#'s, so that is likely the issue. My guess is that is how ATG knows to group a specific player and avoid this scenario.

Still an issue apparently as of the date of this post.

Downloaded the ATG 9 db minutes ago...

Soriano 2002 is ID# 1084
Soriano 2006 is ID# 1058

This should be near the top in issue priority on their bug fix list, I would expect and hope.
