E- Semper #1 with other three possible WC
C - JTJ the clear favorite with Spider a WC candidate and a dark horse to take the division. Glibo and KLX out of it.
W - Jeep and Stoney battling for #1, the other two, not a factor.

Update on Ratings vs. What is happening:

E- Semper #2 in East 11g back behind a very good Milleram team, and 8g back of WC;
C- The two teams: JTJ and Spider are battling for first pick in next year's draft, with the "out of it" teams, Gilbo and KLX at 1 and 2 (although Gilbo appears to be battling for the first pick as well so this "out of it" appears to be true.
W- WOO HOO!!! Another prediction is correct!!! Jeep's team is the class of the division, although been a bit unlucky lately. "Not a factor" team (RandyW) has an 8g lead in WC over Semper, going into division play, so anything can happen. I am not delusional and believe I can outbattle Jeep! His team is way better! But, unfortunately Dale's team is not a factor -- so another prediction correct.

So, out of 12 ratings predictions, by my count, I have 3 1/2 correct (Jeep, Gilbo, Dale and giving a 1/2 for Milleram who is dominating his division, not "competing for WC") and missed the mark on 8 1/2 teams. I am not criticizing the ratings at all! I think the Ratings are spot on on what is going on with the cards/teams, etc. However, as JTJ said "gotta roll the dice!" That is what makes this game, fun AND frustrating all at the same time! I guess it IS like real baseball huh?

Quick trivia quiz: Who are the ONLY two teams to exceed the luxury tax threshold this season and NOT make the playoffs this season? One in NL and One in AL? (Which is likely to frustrate their fans!)

Yeah, this is as bad the ratings have performed ever I think. I think I explained most of the differences.

We actually won a couple of one run games tonight! Gotta admit that felt good.

Since this is a Dodger fan asking, I'm sure the Giants are one of the teams.

Randy's little swoon is giving me hope for WC. Catch him and stay ahead of Semper.

After my "observation" on the ratings, I've lost 13/15. Got swept by dale tonight and outscored 34-4. Shouldn't tempt fate.

We've started playing better and pulled within 7 of the WC. We only have to play like .800 ball to make a run at it!

Last night is a good example of why that's not going to happen. We outscored Gilbo 33-9, but last the first game 7-6 so only took 2 of 3. Normally that's fine, but with the hole we dug, we need all the breaks we can get!

At this point, really just hoping to get to .500 and we'll have to go 16-8 to do that.

So, is where I should point out that Stoney is +81 in runs and Randy is -60? Or that the pythag says Stoney should have 81 wins and Randy 66? Nah.... It's a dice game.

I was waiting for that, Joe! So we just need to give the ratings time to "ferment"? :)

Well, it doesn't always happen that way, but the ratings *are* closer than they were, that's for sure. We've even played decently enough to possibly get to .500 (with some luck!) and we're now #4 in run diff despite being 12 bphrs below our opponent's percentage.

Second NLD in a row where we play well at the end. Wish we could just not sucked for so long.....
