This has come up before in PC tournaments. To balance the division grouping for #7-18, the divisions should be 7/12/13/18, 8/11/14/17, and 9/10/15/16.

Similarly, the two leagues for #19-42 would be grouped as 19/30/31/42, 22/27/34/39, and 23/26/35/38 for league 1 and as 20/29/32/41, 21/28/33/40, and 24/25/36/37 for league 2. Someone check my work, but I think you'll find that balances all three leagues and all divisions correctly.

I thought we were going with these league settings?

Here are the posts that XHowser Jr. is referencing. Did the board have a look?

Yeah, you can't penalize #19-30 by having them all play higher seeds yet only grant the league winner the finals, then allow #31-42 the same reward against weaker opponents. That's not right. That'll need to be re-thought.

See above for the solution.

Thank you moodysix and the board for correcting my error. The Live Draft threads should be correct now. At least I didn't screw up on the tie breakers. :D

No it doesn't matter because no one is tied with you at 376 points. Tie breakers only come into play when two players have the same number of points.

Correct. Read the rules. League 1 is 7-18.

BTW, I'm not a fan of the 3 round live draft. I'm only going with it because that's how it has been done in years prior. It moves SO SLOW especially when done on the forums. Feel free to provide your thoughts on this topic while we wait for the players to get their picks posted.

I am dropping EVERYONE an email when they are UP in an attempt to do the same as the Live Draft APP that SOM has for a full 25 player draft. I wish that draft had settings for how many rounds we could choose but it doesn't.

(I'm pasting this here from League 1 to spread the word.)

Is there a time limit in picks?

No.
